Making a difference
Our journey since 2008 across England and Wales is a testament to our commitment. Our extensive experience in the courts has enabled numerous families to navigate their challenges within the confines of the system.
Every day at Family Law Decisions, we are committed to simplifying the complexities of family law. We cut through the confusion, offer clear and straightforward guidance, and stand by families with a practical, down-to-earth approach. Our mission is to transform legal challenges into manageable steps to make family law feel less like a maze and more like a roadmap.
Guiding principles
No child should be denied a full and proper relationship with his or her parents unless it has been shown that such a relationship presents a risk to the child. The starting point for negotiations when parents separate should be a shared parenting schedule, circumstances, and practicalities allowed. The importance of grandparents and the wider family should be recognized. Children should spend enough time with both parents to be able to negate any attempts at ‘adverse influence’. Preventing a child from having a relationship with a parent by breaching a court order is normally unacceptable and the law should deal with such breaches promptly.
