When I started this unexpected journey about the children custody battle I was Litigant In-Person and naive.
Naive in a way that I thought the judge or magistrate will see the situation regarding how ridiculous it was and expected common sense to prevail. My Ex-Wife got all the pack: Solicitor plus Barrister.
Trust me, going to Court without knowledge about how Family Court is working, no matter sensible you are, right you are convinced you are, you are wrong. Plain and simple.
My best decision ever was to contact Family Law Decision, Jeff and Colin. They saved me in all meaning you can imagine.
They are direct, clear, and listen to you but also not here to cuddle you.
Their will is to provide you with the best outcome and for this, they show you the best behaviour to adopt, what to say, what to read because they know what matters not to you but to the Court in order for you to get the best outcome.
I have done an FDHRA and second Hearing LIP. For 2 others Hearings, I choose them. Made such a difference and for the Final Hearing thanks to Jeff who helped me with this one, I got an order which I will never be able to have if I was LIP. Never ever.
Trust me all I am easy in a way frustration is overwhelming you, the unfairness feeling making you (like it or not) reacting not the right way. Jeff and Colin gave me the right kick in the butt to save my contact with my children and even more.
